The activities of the Mongolian Association of Certified Tax Consultants (MACTC) are aimed at contributing to the implementation of sound tax policies and the development of the country's economy. The members of the association participated in the Executive management training on Taxation in the mining sector initiated by TINZ and sponsored by the Australian Government. The main goal of this training is to support economic growth increasing the skills of mining sector professionals in Mongolia.

Tod Tax TMZ LLC's tax consultant participated in the two-week intensive course organized by the Department of International Business and Asian Studies at Griffith University in Australia, with mentors from Queensland Treasury, Ernst and Young, PWC, Adam Smith International, ADF Group, Minter Ellison, JK Tech Pty Ltd and the University of Queensland. The program addresses the tax issues and topics facing the mining sector in the following context:

• Mining and mineral sector agreements (product sharing agreements), Government intervention
